Your tapes and film reel, slides and photos have a shelf life.

vhs tape mouldy

They don't last forever.  Already, their image and sound quality is not as good as when you last watched them.

Why hang on to these old formats when you can preserve and watch them on DVD or on your computer?

Unless each of your tape and film reel has been carefully labelled, you may not even remember what's on them anymore

No problem!

Bring your tapes and film reels into our store to view them on our projectors and players - No charge, no obligation.  Our projectors and players are conditioned on a regular basis - your precious media is completely safe on our equipment. (PLEASE do not play your aging and fragile tapes and films on dusty projectors you drag out of the attic!)  We are also here in person to help you answer any questions you may have about your VHS tapes, VCR, Hi8 tapes or your 8mm film reels, Super 8, or even 16mm film reels that went out of favor over 40 years ago.

It's fun to come into our store.  You'll feel like you stepped back into your grandparents' living room.  We have film projectors to play your Regular 8mm or Super8, or 16mm film.  We have VHS-C cartridges for your VHS-Compact tapes.  Did you stumble upon old vinyl LP records your dad sent love voice recordings to your mom?  Hear them in our record player right here in the store.  Your tape still stuck in your camcorder from way back when? Embarassing!  Let us rescue your tape.

Why are we offering FREE viewing and free help to our community?  Don't we have plenty to do already?

Yes, we are very busy.  That's why we announce this invitation only once a year, in September.  It's also a way to give back to the community.  You have been supporting us since 1986!  Thank you very much.   Video and film transfer stores are a dying breed.  We plan to be the last one standing.  We plan to be here to transfer the last 8mm film reel in Massachusetts.
